The Best Up Barber Brawl, also known as the B.U.B.B, was recently established in 2026. But the foundation of the organization and the unique structure of It's creativity has been implemented for many years. The Founder and Host, Leon Payne, has traveled across Country for decades as a Master Barber experiencing some of the most unique and creative styles in the Barber Industry! As Leon Payne, also known as Mr. Payne from his recent book release in April of 2025 MY GIFT, MY CRY, traveled across Country he saw more than just haircuts. He witness ART! "Many Stylist today spray enhancements on Clients and unfortunately that has taken away the fundamental aspects of what a true BARBER is." Payne says. "Barbers are Barbers because we can CUT the look and style our clients desire. When you have to "enhance" that look with PAINT then you steal away the authenticity of the craft." Payne continues.

The B.U.B.B was created for Barbers who can bring the best styles and creativity WITHOUT enhancing their work. In 2014 Payne traveled to Midvale Utah, from his hometown in Indianapolis Indiana, to attend one of the most prestigious Barber Schools in the Country, THE TIM HITE BARBER SCHOOL.

After spending 6 years in Utah, opening up a barbershop and electronic store, Payne was faced with what America would call COVID-19. In late 2020 after building 2 businesses and a growing respectable business name for himself, Payne was forced to close down both businesses and start over due to Covid-19.

In 2021 Payne moved to Houston Texas to get a new start on his life. Shortly, after 2 and a half years, he reached out to some investors about his new idea. Payne was excited to know that his idea would have financial backing IF he could get 200 people interested in his new idea. Payne then moved to Orlando Florida in JUNE of 2025 after his book was released.The Best up Barber Brawl was born seven months later.
